suprised I still have hair
I forgot how time consuming it is trying to teach someone how to do simple things like checking emails or using the dvd player. Mom is trying though, she came into my room last night just as I got into bed to get back up and go to her room and show her how to reprogram her channels into her tv and today she had me show her again how to use the dvd player I guess that considering that up until 7 months ago she had NEVER used a dvd player or a computer til last month she is slowly coming into the 21st century.( I would put her at about 1995 right now ) She needs to get some practice on the computer so if you will all send her some emails so that she gets used to opening, reading and passing them on or deleting them it would be a great help as right now she usually gets them from her brother Leonard,Avanell,Wilma and Heather with a few more here and there, but not enough to where she feels comfortable with it yet ( she is afraid that she will push the wrong button and break the computer even tho I have told her she wont)

Thanks for dragging Mom kicking and screaming into 1995; only 13 years to go! Happy Valentine's Day!
Hey there, Glad that your mom is coming into the 21st century. hehe
Send me her email address and i will write her a message. <G>
Might be an idea to warn her about the email scams asking for bank details. I can see her dutifully filling in every one. Don't know if they're as prevalent back home as they are here - I delete at least a dozen every month, usually more.
That was the first thing I told her when she got internet
Tell her if the computer breaks it's not her fault, it's the comptuer's
@trebleclef402 - I can usually get her to do her emails everyday but she is still intimidated,I'm just gonna let her do it at her pace so she doesn't feel pushed.
